As the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project continues, we will provide project notifications that outline upcoming and impactful activities, including a map of the area for reference.
Residential/Hotel
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, November 15, fit out will take place in the hotel lobby and bars on floors 1 and 16. A crane in the lane way will finish raising material to the podium and leave the site.
- On Sunday, November 16, a crew of seven will be inside the hotel working on wall coverings.
Weekday/Night Activities
- Trotting Avenue is open to the public as the midrise and highrise residential buildings (Verra) continue to be occupied.
- Paver, planter and other installations will continue on the podium between the buildings.
- Punch list work is finishing in the midrise and continuing in the highrise and hotel.
- Fit out work continues in the highrise.
- Elevator work is underway.
- The hotel received its temporary certificate of occupancy.
- Fit out and finish work continue at the hotel.
- Planting deliveries and installation continues.
- Garage clean-up and finish work is underway.
- Furniture and other operator supplies are being delivered to the hotel.
Laboratory and Office Buildings
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, November 15, terrace, exterior level 1 hardscape, penthouse mechanical, elevator, interior lobby and miscellaneous work will be underway.
- On Sunday, November 16, four electrical programmers and ten elevator installers will be working.
Weekday Activities
- Preparation and clean-up for testing and inspections will be ongoing. Boston Fire Department tests including fire-alarm testing are typically required to be scheduled off hours and may generate some noise.
- Terrace paver and finish work continues.
- Elevators are being adjusted and inspected.
- MEP detail and start up activities are ongoing.
- Mechanical penthouse detail and start up activities continue.
- Lobby and other fit out detail work continues.
- Garage finish work continues.
- Paver installation to finish on Trotting Avenue.
- Punch-list work is underway on the building’s interior and exterior as well as on the land/hardscaping areas.
Treehouse Conference Center
Weekend Activities in Coordination with Treehouse Operations
- On Saturday, November 15, boom lifts will be completing façade punch-list work, installing pavers/pedestals on the third-floor terrace and working on interior punch-list items.
- On Sunday, November 16, no work will take place.
Weekday Activities in Coordination with Treehouse Operations
- Interior and operational punch list activity will continue.
- Roof detail and terrace paver installation continue.
- Façade punch list detail work will take place.
- Exterior landscaping/hardscaping detail will be underway.
- Loading dock activities will finish.
- Operational deliveries and work will take place.
Greenway
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, November 15, pavers will be installed.
- On Sunday, November 16, no work will take place.
Weekday Activities
- Remaining shrubs will be planted.
- Pavers continue to be installed at the water features area.
- Decorative stonework will continue.
- Pavers will be placed
- Bioswale deck, concrete footings and plantings will be placed.
- Punchlist work has begun.
Streetscape and Western Avenue
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, November 15, no work will take place.
- On Sunday, November 16, no work will take place.
Weekday/night Activities
- Prepping for mill and overlay paving including sidewalk ramps and conduit install on the Harvard Business School side of Western Avenue will continue.
- Barriers and fencing near the Treehouse will be removed after as landscaping finishes.
- Sidewalk crews will begin working between Milestone Street and the National Resilience entrance.
- Shrub, benches and amenity installation will be ongoing at Milestone and Trotting North.
Building Mock-Ups
- Plans are underway to remove the building mockups on the corner of Hague and Rotterdam Streets. The demolition work will take place from inside the Hague Street lot.
General
- The projects work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturdays/Sundays/off hours as permitted by the City of Boston from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Crews will coordinate work in accordance with building operations for those buildings that have opened.
- Drones will be in use bi-weekly to monitor construction progress on site.
- Drones will be operated by licensed pilots in accordance with Harvard University and the City of Boston regulations.
- Weekly flights are weather dependent and are scheduled one weekday morning.
- A drone is scheduled to fly on Thursday, November 20 at 3 p.m.
