As the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project continues, we will provide project notifications that outline upcoming and impactful activities, including a map of the area for reference.
Residential/Hotel
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 25, painting will be underway on floor 8 at the highrise, and fit out work will take place in the hotel bars on floors 1 and 16.
- On Sunday, October 26, no work will take place.
Weekday/Night Activities
- A crane will arrive at 6 a.m. on Monday, October 27 and will be on the laneway through Friday, October 31. It will be loading bar equipment at the hotel and pavers and planters on the podium.
- Trotting Avenue is open to the public as the midrise and highrise residential buildings (Verra) continue to be occupied.
- Paver activities continue.
- Punch list work is finishing in the midrise and continuing in the highrise and hotel.
- Fit out work continues in the highrise.
- Elevator work is underway.
- The hotel received its temporary certificate of occupancy.
- Fit out and finish work continue at the hotel.
- Furniture and other operator supplies are being delivered to the hotel.
- Plantings deliveries and installation continues.
- Garage finish work is underway.
Laboratory and Office Buildings
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 25, terrace, exterior level 1 hardscape, penthouse mechanical, elevator, interior lobby and miscellaneous work will be underway.
- On Sunday, October 26, a crane will be on site with seven ironworkers loading a platform to the roof and ten elevator installers will also be working.
Weekday Activities
- Roof and terrace activities including paver and planting install are underway.
- Elevators are being installed and inspected.
- MEP detail and start up activities are ongoing.
- Mechanical penthouse detail activities continue.
- Planting and curb installation are underway.
- Exterior signage will be installed.
- Final sidewalk placement and paver installation at Trotting will occur.
- Bathroom detailing is underway.
- Millwork, flooring and painting are ongoing.
- Garage work continues.
Treehouse Conference Center
Weekend Activities
- No work will take place this weekend.
Weekday/Night Activities
- Façade installation activities will be underway from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with possible after-hours work.
- Roof detail and terrace pavers and other finish activities continue.
- Paver prep excavation and paver installation will continue.
- Operations deliveries and work will be underway.
- Loading dock finish work will take place.
- Punchlist activity and finish interior work will continue.
Greenway
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 25, pavers and plantings will be installed.
- On Sunday, October 26, no work will take place.
Weekday Activities
- Trees and shrubs continue to be planted.
- Pre-cast berms continue to be installed at the water features area.
- Boulder outcrop finishing is underway.
- Aggregate stonework will continue.
- Pavers will be placed
- Bioswale deck concrete footings will be placed.
Streetscape and Western Avenue
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, soils work will take place on Milestone, and curb will be installed on the roadways near the lab buildings.
Weekday/night Activities
- Prepping for mill and overlay paving on Western Avenue will take place.
- Trotting to Milestone curb will be installed.
- Plantings and planter bed clean up will take place on Milestone.
- Loading dock work will take place at Treehouse.
- Soil work, pavers and light-pole base installation will continue at Trotting north.
Building Mock-Ups
- Building mockups are on the corner of Hague and Rotterdam Streets.
General
- The projects work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturdays/Sundays/off hours as permitted by the City of Boston from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Drones will be in use bi-weekly to monitor construction progress on site.
- Drones will be operated by licensed pilots in accordance with Harvard University and the City of Boston regulations.
- Weekly flights are weather dependent and are scheduled one weekday morning.
- A drone is scheduled to fly on Thursday, October 30 at 3 p.m.
