Residential/Hotel
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 18, a crane is anticipated on site at 6 a.m. for hotel glass and panel lifts from Trotting Avenue.
- On Sunday, October 19, no work will take place.
Weekday/Night Activities
- Trotting Avenue is open to the public as the midrise and highrise residential buildings (Verra) continue to be occupied.
- Paver activities continue.
- Punch list work is finishing in the midrise and continuing in the highrise and hotel.
- Fit out work continues in the highrise.
- Elevator work is underway.
- The hotel received its temporary certificate of occupancy.
- Fit-out and finish work will continue at the hotel.
- Furniture and other operator supplies are being delivered.
- Tree deliveries and installation continues.
- Garage finish work is underway.
Laboratory and Office Buildings
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 18, a crane will be on site to remove roofing materials. Also terrace, exterior level 1 hardscape, penthouse mechanical, elevator, interior lobby and miscellaneous work will be underway.
- On Sunday, October 19, elevator installers will be working.
Weekday Activities
- Roof and terrace activities including paver and planting install are underway.
- Elevators are being installed and inspected.
- MEP detail and start up activities are ongoing.
- Mechanical penthouse detail activities continue.
- Planting and curb installation are underway.
- Permanent wire, temp lighting and signage installation will take place.
- Interior lobby finish work continues.
- Bathroom detailing is underway.
- Millwork, flooring and painting are ongoing.
- Garage work continues.
Treehouse Conference Center
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 18, traffic coating will be installed on and around the loading dock, finish interior and roof/facade work will be underway.
- On Sunday, October 19, no work will be underway.
Weekday/Night Activities
- Façade installation activities will be underway from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with possible after-hours work.
- Roof detail and terrace pavers and other finish activities continue.
- Paver prep excavation and paver installation will continue.
- Operations deliveries and work will be underway.
- Loading dock finish work will take place.
- Punchlist activity continues.
Greenway
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 18, pavers will be installed.
- On Sunday, October 19, no work will take place.
Weekday Activities
- Trees and shrubs continue to be planted.
- Pre-cast berms continue to be installed at the water features area.
- Boulder outcrop finishing is underway.
- Aggregate stonework will take place.
Streetscape and Western Avenue
Weekend Activities
- No work will take place this weekend.
Weekday/night Activities
- Trotting to Milestone pavers will be installed.
- Small concrete footings will be placed on Milestone.
- Loading dock work will take place at Treehouse.
- Soil work will continue on Trotting north at Western Ave.
Building Mock-Ups
- Building mockups are on the corner of Hague and Rotterdam Streets.
General
- Large trailer field office removal will take place Friday, October 17 and Tuesday, October 21; smaller trailers will be removed during the week.
- The projects work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturdays/Sundays/off hours as permitted by the City of Boston from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Drones will be in use bi-weekly to monitor construction progress on site.
- Drones will be operated by licensed pilots in accordance with Harvard University and the City of Boston regulations.
- Weekly flights are weather dependent and are scheduled one weekday morning.
- A drone is scheduled to fly on Thursday, October 23 at 3 p.m.
