As the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project continues, we will provide project notifications that outline upcoming and impactful activities, including a map of the area for reference.
Residential/Hotel
Holiday Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 11 crews will be doing ongoing punch-list and fit-out work in the hotel.
- No work will take place on Sunday, October 12, or Monday, October 12.
Weekday/Night Activities
- Trotting Avenue is open to the public as the midrise and highrise residential buildings (Verra) continue to be occupied.
- Paver activities continue.
- Small concrete placements will take place.
- Punch list work is finishing in the midrise and continuing in the highrise and hotel.
- Fit out work continues in the highrise.
- Elevator work is underway.
- The hotel received its temporary certificate of occupancy.
- Fit-out and finish work will continue at the hotel.
- Furniture and other operator supplies are being delivered.
- Tree deliveries and installation continues.
- Garage finish work is underway.
Laboratory and Office Buildings
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 11, terrace, exterior level 1 hardscape, penthouse mechanical, elevator, interior lobby and miscellaneous work will be underway.
- On Sunday, October 12, 10 workers will be installing elevators.
- On Monday, October 13, elevator work will be underway.
Weekday Activities
- Roof and terrace activities including paver and planting install are underway.
- Elevators are being installed and inspected.
- MEP detail and start up activities are ongoing.
- Mechanical penthouse detail activities continue.
- Tree installation underway on Axle, Trotting and Milestone.
- Permanent wire, temp lighting and signage installation will take place.
- Curb installation at Trotting will occur.
- Bathroom detailing is underway.
- Millwork, flooring and painting are ongoing.
- Garage work continues.
Treehouse Conference Center
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 11, multiple activities will be underway including façade installation, hardscape, landscape, interior finish work, clean up, punch-list activity.
- On Sunday, October 12, about 30 workers will be inside the building cleaning and doing finish work as well as exterior façade, hardscape and landscape activities.
- On Monday, October 13, crews will be inside the building cleaning and doing finish work as well as exterior façade, hardscape and landscape activities.
Weekday/Night Activities
- Limited construction activity will take place on Tuesday, October 14.
- Façade installation activities will be underway from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with possible after-hours work.
- Roof detail and terrace pavers and other finish activities continue.
- Paver prep excavation and paver installation will continue.
- Operations deliveries and work will be underway
- Punchlist activity continues.
Greenway
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 11, pavers will be installed and planting activity will be underway.
- No work will take place on Sunday, October 12, or Monday, October 12.
Weekday Activities
- Trees and shrubs continue to be planted.
- Pavers will be installed at the water features area and over the ductbank area.
- Boulder outcrop finishing is underway.
- Aggregate stone work will take place.
Streetscape and Western Avenue
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, October 11, fence removal and opening of sidewalk and bike lane along Western Avenue. Pedestrians will be intermittently shifted to the Harvard Business School side of Western Avenue while crews work at the fence line.
- No work will take place on Sunday, October 12, or Monday, October 12.
Weekday/night Activities
- Trotting to Milestone pavers will be installed.
- Trotting to Milestone trees will be planted.
- Placing sidewalks on Trotting south will take place.
- Soil work will continue from Treehouse to Milestone. Pedestrians will be intermittently shifted to the Harvard Business School side of Western Avenue while crews work at the fence line.
Building Mock-Ups
- Building mockups are on the corner of Hague and Rotterdam Streets.
General
- The projects work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturdays/Sundays/off hours as permitted by the City of Boston from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Drones will be in use bi-weekly to monitor construction progress on site.
- Drones will be operated by licensed pilots in accordance with Harvard University and the City of Boston regulations.
- Weekly flights are weather dependent and are scheduled one weekday morning.
- A drone is scheduled to fly on Thursday, October 16 at 3 p.m.
