As the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project continues, we will provide project notifications that outline upcoming and impactful activities, including a map of the area for reference.

Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, September 27 in the highrise, crews will be doing fit-out work on floors 8 and 13. First floor lobby millwork will be underway in the hotel. Elevator and miscellaneous interior activity including flooring, bathroom work and painting are ongoing inside the hotel with punch-list work throughout.
- On Sunday, September 28, the hotel will have six workers in the elevators.
Weekday/Night Activities
- Trotting Avenue is open to the public as the midrise and highrise residential buildings (Verra) continue to be occupied.
- Paver activities continue.
- Small concrete placements will take place.
- Punch list work is finishing in the midrise and continuing in the highrise.
- Fit out work continues in the highrise.
- The hotel received its temporary certificate of occupancy.
- Fit-out and finish work will continue at the hotel.
- Exterior stone granite work will continue at the hotel’s storefront.
Laboratory and Office Buildings

- On Saturday, September 27, terrace, exterior level 1 hardscape, penthouse mechanical, elevator, interior lobby and miscellaneous work will be underway.
- On Sunday, September 28, six workers will be installing elevators.

- Smaller concrete operations continue.
- Roof and terrace activities including paver and planting install are underway.
- Elevators are being installed and inspected.
- MEP work is ongoing.
- Mechanical penthouse detail activities continue.
- Paver installation at Milestone will take place.
- Sidewalks to be placed at Axle Way and Trotting corner.
- Granite curb and irrigation work will continue.
- Bathroom detailing is underway.
- Millwork, flooring and painting are ongoing.

- The buildings are being energized.
Treehouse Conference Center
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, September 27, multiple activities will be underway including façade installation, roof activities and installation of pavers on the south side of the building. Interior work includes flooring, ceilings, elevator and miscellaneous work including MEP finish activity. The loading dock will be inactive while work is underway on northern Milestone.
- On Sunday, September 28, thirty workers will be active on the terrace and inside the building in elevator shafts and installing flooring. The loading dock will be inactive while work is underway on northern Milestone.
Weekday/Night Activities
- A site crew will be excavating to finish pavers.
- Trees will be planted.
- Façade installation will be underway on two shifts from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Electricians and flooring workers are also working two shifts inside the building.
- Elevator work is underway on three shifts.
- Roof detail and terrace activities continue.
- MEP finish activities are ongoing
- Building systems start-up, testing and inspections in preparation for temporary certificate of occupancy in early October are underway.
- Flooring and some ceiling work continues.
- Bathroom and kitchen work continues.

Greenway
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, September 27, masons will be working on the footing forms at the bio-swale area.
Weekday Activities
- Crews will do electrical finishes in the grove area at the shared-use path.
- Pavers will be installed at the water feature slab.
- Reclaimed boulders and lion sculptures are being installed
- Footings for bio-swales are being placed. Wood decking in this area will be installed.
- Trees are being planted.
Streetscape and Western Avenue
Weekend Activities
- On Saturday, September 27 curbing and hardscape will be underway on northern Milestone and near the Treehouse loading dock. Crews will be prepping for sidewalks along the Western Avenue fence line with pedestrians intermittently shifted to the Harvard Business School sidewalk.
- On Sunday, September 28 curbing and hardscape will be underway on northern Milestone and near the Treehouse loading dock.
Weekday/night Activities
- Pedestrians will be intermittently shifted to the Harvard Business School side of Western Avenue while crews work at the fence line installing pavers and planter soils.
- Electrical conduits and irrigation lines will be installed on Trotting Avenue, north of the loading dock.
- Hardscape work will continue along Milestone.
- Another crew will also begin pre-clearing along the eastern side of Milestone Street.
Building Mock-Ups
- Building mockups are on the corner of Hague and Rotterdam Streets.
Eversource Conduit Project
- Eversource will be removing temporary power lines since the lab buildings now have permanent power. This public utility work is not under the supervision of ERC.
General
- The projects work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturdays/Sundays/off hours as permitted by the City of Boston from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Drones will be in use bi-weekly to monitor construction progress on site.
- Drones will be operated by licensed pilots in accordance with Harvard University and the City of Boston regulations.
- Weekly flights are weather dependent and are scheduled one weekday morning.
- A drone is scheduled to fly on Thursday, October 2, at 3 p.m.
