All sites will not be working on the Patriots Day holiday on Monday, April 15, 2024.
As the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project continues, we will provide project notifications that outline upcoming and impactful activities, including a map of the area for reference.
Residential/Hotel
- Work will be underway this Saturday, April 13 starting at 7 a.m.
- Structural steel will be installed at the hotel.
- Crews will be preparing for concrete placements and steel erection.
- Tower cranes will be operational.
- Structural steel continues to be delivered and installed at the hotel.
- Concrete operations are ongoing.
- Intermittent use of power trowels for concrete finishing may take place after 6 a.m.
- Visible work is underway with work progressing to level six of the high rise and midrise residential buildings.
Laboratory and Office Buildings
- A second tower crane has been assembled and will be operating to begin installing structural steel on the east building.
- The large crawler crane has been removed.
- Structural steel continues to be delivered and installed and rising to the fourth level on the of the west tower using the tower crane.
- Structural steel deliveries continue.
Greenway
- This section of the site is currently being used for laydown space.
Treehouse Conference Center
- Work will take place this Saturday, April 13, starting at 7 a.m.
- Crews will be preparing for placements.
- Masons will be working on the core.
- Rigging will be installed.
- A crane will be operating on site.
- Work is underway on the elevator cores with concrete wall placements scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 16 and continuing one placement a week through the month.
- Underground utility work is taking place inside the site.
- Temporary power is being installed on site. Eversource may use a vacuum truck off Western Avenue.
Building Mock-Ups
- Punchlist work is ongoing on all five mockups.
General
- The site’s four tower cranes have been erected and are operational. They are designed to move or “weathervane” in the wind.
- Drones will be in use bi-weekly to monitor construction progress on site.
- Drones will be operated by licensed pilots in accordance with Harvard University and the City of Boston regulations.
- Flights are weather dependent and are scheduled Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. alternating weekly.
- A drone flight is scheduled for Thursday, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. or Friday, April 19 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
