Enterprise Research Campus Update #19 (Week of December 11, 2023)

Construction Updates

As the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project continues, we will provide project notifications that outline upcoming and impactful activities, including a map of the area for reference.

Residential/Hotel

  • Bulk excavation operations have been completed.
  • Concrete operations on site will continue.
    • Rebar work within the site foundation is ongoing.
  • There will be work this Saturday, December 9th starting at 7AM.
  • Crews will be doing rebar work.
  • A 2,000-yard hotel core mat placement will take place on December 14th.
    • This operation will start at 5AM with the lights turned on at 4:30AM.
  • Waterproofing work continues on the site foundation.
  • A large generator will be installed to provide temporary power to the site.
    • This generator will run 24/7 to support the power needs, especially heaters, on the site.
  • The site’s two tower cranes have been erected and are operational. They are designed to move or “weathervane” in the wind.

Laboratory and Office Buildings

  • Concrete and rebar operations are ongoing.
  • Waterproofing work continues on the site foundation.
  • There will be work this Saturday, December 9th starting at 7AM.
    • Crews will be doing carpentry work.
  • An additional crane will be onsite to lower formwork into the foundation.
  • The third mat slab placement is scheduled for December 16th.
    • This 4,500-yard placement will start at 2:30AM.

Greenway

  • This section of the site is currently being used for laydown space.

Treehouse Conference Center

  • There will be work this Saturday, December 9th starting at 7AM.
    • Crews will be preparing for formwork installation.
  • Concrete operations will begin with a mud mat placement on Friday, December 8th.

Building Mock-Ups

  • Crews continue to work at the Laboratory and Hotel mockups.
  • Steel delivery will take place on December 12th for the Conference Center mockup.
    • A crane will unload the steel from a trailer parked on Rotterdam Street between 9AM-10AM.
  • Work will continue at the Residential mockup at the end of December.
