Enterprise Research Campus Update #7 (Week of September 18, 2023)

Construction Updates

As the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project continues, we will provide project notifications that outline upcoming and impactful activities, including a map of the area for reference.

Crews are preparing sites for the predicted inclement weather conditions. There will be no work this Saturday with the exception to a few workers monitoring the site during the storm.

Residential/Hotel

  • Bulk excavation of the site continues.
  • On Monday, September 18th, soil will begin to be hauled to Beacon Park Yard.
    • Trucks will use a private haul road to transport the soil to be taken off site via rail.
    • Soil will continue to be trucked out simultaneously.
  • Concrete operations have mobilized on site.
  • Crews are working to excavate a pad where the first of two tower cranes will be erected in October.

Laboratory and Office Buildings

  • Bulk excavation of the site continues.

Greenway

  • This section of the site is currently being used for laydown space until crews mobilize in the coming months.

Treehouse Conference Center

  • The jersey barriers and fence line has been extended onto Western Ave by Milestone Dr.
  • Crews prepare to mobilize for construction starting at the end of September.

Building Mock-Ups

  • Curtainwalls have been installed on the first two of five building mockups.
  • The screen walls will be installed at the end of the month.
