Enterprise Research Campus Update #128 (Weeks of June 1, 8 & 15, 2026)

The Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project Phase A is mostly complete with some finish, roadway, hardscaping and landscaping work continuing. Some finish and fitout work continues in and around the buildings, which are operating. The Foxglove Terrace, a rooftop bar at the Atlas Hotel recently opened. Phin Coffee House has recently opened on the first floor of the Treehouse. Tenants are moving into the laboratory buildings.

Western Avenue

  • The paving of Western Avenue in front of ERC Phase A is complete.
  • Beginning the week of June 8 through the week of June 15, a bus shelter will be relocated from the One Western Avenue area to across from the Treehouse on the Harvard Business School side of Western. Three trees will be relocated. Trucks and equipment will intermittently be in use on the roadway and sidewalk shifting cyclists and pedestrians.
  • Bike and bus lane markings will take place overnight.

Streetscape

  • Crews will be prepping for replacing of temp pavement with porous pavement at Milestone Street and Trotting Avenue on Monday, June 8 with a back-up of Tuesday, June 9. This activity is weather dependent and will be impactful on each roadway.  It will involve intermittently closing sections of the roadways to prep, pave and set. Curb adjustments will follow.
  • Planting will continue.
  • Miscellaneous finish work will take place.

Greenway (now Allston Way)

  • Allstonway is open to the public with programming of events beginning.
  • Miscellaneous landscape and planting work continues.

Treehouse

  • Drone flights for photo documentation will take place on Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2 from 4:30 a.m. to 8:50 p.m. This activity is weather dependent.
  • Solar panel installation will take place later in June at the Treehouse. Plans are underway for a crane to lift equipment and material to the roof.
